Sometimes, telling a wedding story also means taking a step back.
When the venue, weather conditions and local regulations allow it, I like to include a few simple drone shots during a wedding day. Not to impress. Not to overdo it. But to offer another perspective.
These images are meant to highlight the beauty of a place, its surroundings, its atmosphere. To show where everything happens. To give space and depth to the story.

Discreet, intentional, always respectful
My approach to drone footage is the same as my overall approach to wedding content creation: discreet, thoughtful, and intentional.

I only use the drone when it truly makes sense for the story, and always with great care. The goal is never to interrupt the flow of the day, but to complement it gently. I work in harmony with photographers and videographers, respecting their work, their vision, and the rhythm of the wedding.

Sometimes it’s just a few seconds of video.
Sometimes a single image from above.

But together, these moments help create a more complete memory of the day.

The setting, the light, the surrounding landscape… they all contribute to the emotion of a wedding day.

Drone shots allow couples to rediscover their venue from a different angle. To remember not only what they felt, but also where it all happened.

Drone footage is never guaranteed and always depends on the venue, weather conditions and authorizations. When possible, it is offered as a complementary element, always aligned with the spirit of the wedding and the story being told.

A DIFFERENT TEXTURE

When the mood and the moment call for it, I bring out my vintage camcorder to capture a few authentic, textured shots during the day.
These images are never about nostalgia for its own sake.
They are warm, imperfect, and intentional.
Their purpose is to capture the raw feeling of a moment as it happens, the grain, the motion, the softness that feels alive.
All raw camcorder footage is delivered in its own folder within your gallery, and I also edit a separate camcorder reel, its own short film with its own rhythm.
Camcorder footage is included in the Romance and Elegance packages, adding another layer to the story.
It is never systematic, only used where it truly belongs.
It is simply another way to tell the story.
